SKATE SUNDIATA is an inaugural roller skating experience celebrating Black culture, music, movement, and community as part of the Festival Sundiata – Black Arts Festival, a featured event within Seattle Center's Festál cultural festival series. Join us at Fisher Pavilion for a free, all-ages skating experience where everyone is welcome to roll, connect, and celebrate. Bring your own skates or reserve rental skates in advance, and be part of the beginning of Seattle's newest cultural skating tradition. There will be 1 Skate Session per day. Saturday session will begin at 1:30pm with a Skating for the Culture Class by Howard Jenkins of Skate Therapy for the firsdt 45 mins.&nbsp;Skating time for Saturday 1:30 pm - 5:30pm.Sunday Session will begin at 1:00pm with a&nbsp;kating for the Culture Class by Howard Jenkins of Skate Therapy for the firsdt 45 mins. Skating time for Sunday 1:00 pm - 5:00pm.

All participants entering the skating floor—including those bringing their own skates and those renting skates—must complete and sign a Participant Waiver and Release of Liability before skating.
Participants acknowledge that roller skating is an activity involving inherent risks, including the possibility of falls, collisions, and other injuries. By participating, each skater voluntarily assumes all risks associated with roller skating and releases SKATE SUNDIATA, Festival Sundiata – Black Arts Festival, Seattle Center, event partners, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliated organizations from liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation, except where prohibited by law.
Participants under 18 years of age must have the waiver completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian before receiving admission to the skating floor or rental skates.
